Pressure: The Movie? Could such an amazing motion picture really exist?
Well, not yet. But things are happening. There’s not much to share at this point, but the stuff I’ve got to share will be right here. So…
It’s been optioned by Anthony Mastromauro (Moonlight Serenade, Beer League) at Identity Films.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers 1 & 2, G.I. Joe, 1408) is attached as a producer.
??????? is attached as a director, but I’m not supposed to blab about it yet.
Jeff Strand, novelist, cashed the check and basically just pesters them for updates.

Great news, man.
There is justice in the world.
Many, many congratulations, Jeff.
Keep pestering them to start work on the movie soonest possible.

Jeff, just finished the 3 Mayhem books. I loved them all. You are seriously whacked. I’m hooked. You need to get all your stuff available thru Amazon ebooks so I can continue to burn the midnight (and daylight) oils enjoying all your twisted characters. Still looking for the perfect short for campfire read aloud at my upcoming camping trip next month… any sugestions for an adult audience who won’t know what hit ‘em? Scary… not too gory if you have one.
Thanks man for all your writing… Nikki

Thanks, Nikki! Glad you liked ‘em! Yeah, I know, I still have a few books that you can’t get digitally…which is ironic since I spent two years as president of an organization for electronically published authors! Thanks for spending so much of your valuable time on my dorky little website!

Jeff,
Love all your stuff, (another Andrew Mayham soon?)…
I’ll support all your stuff, i.e. buy it on ebay (almost stold one of you signed copies from the local libraries (25 for a great book? hello I can drink that in 1/2 a day…. lol) so tell your old pubs to let you epub your early works…
thanks,
Steven

Thanks, Steven! The early works are all readily available as e-books, except for MANDIBLES, which I pulled when the 7-year contract ended. THE HAUNTED FOREST TOUR is set to be published fairly soon by Necon Ebooks, and I’ll be e-pubbing THE SINISTER MR. CORPSE myself in early 2011. After that, I think they’ll all be available as e-books except for THE SEVERED NOSE and WOLF HUNT.

That’s awesome news! Definitely something to look forward to. I hope they do your excellent work justice.
