The Low Budget Review Show on BLISTER

Erik Smith of The Low Budget Review Show has posted a video review of Blister! Did he love it? Did he hate it? Was he ambivalent toward it? Find out here:

An Awkward Six Minutes

To promote my upcoming Blister launch party, here’s “An Awkward Six Minutes With Jeff Strand and Wordier Than Thou.”

Blister Launch Party & Audiobook

Hey, I’ve added a new listing to my Appearances page–the Blister launch party!

August 12, 2016. BLISTER LAUNCH PARTY. Wordier Than Thou Bookstore, Pinellas Park, Florida. 7:00 – 9:00 PM. There’ll be a mercifully brief reading, a Q&A, and lots of socializing. You can also buy a copy of Blister if you want and I’ll scrawl my name on it.

This is the first author event at the Wordier Than Thou Bookstore and they’re looking to do more, so if you’re a local author, this is a great chance to check out the space.

Meanwhile, there’s now a Blister audiobook, narrated by Daniel Dorse! If you own the Kindle edition, you can add the audio edition for a scant $1.99! Madness! Get it HERE.

BLISTER in Paperback!

If you’re a paper-books kind of person, we’ve now got you covered! The paperback edition of Blister, published by Sinister Grin Press, is now available!

Order your copy right HERE.

Lunch With Kresby!

While up in Minnesota/Wisconsin, I got to meet H. Michael Casper, aka “Kresby,” one of the ultimate book collectors in the horror genre. He’s got a complete collection of everything published by Delirium Books, and even wrote Collecting Darkness: 10 Years of Delirium Books. Here he is signing a copy for me:

And here we are posing with great dignity:

Lunch With Jennifer!

I haven’t updated my website in a couple of weeks because I’ve been in a cabin in the woods. (No evil spirits possessed me that I know about.) So I’m late posting this photograph:

Jennifer

This is Jennifer Joyner, who won the Wordier Than Thou auction where I wrote a (completely ridiculous) short story starring her and her family. It’s most gory indeed.

She doesn’t live in Tampa, but she happened to be there a couple of weeks ago, so I got to have lunch with her and her husband Mike at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company. (I had a buffalo chicken sandwich, if you want all the details.)

A great time was had by all. Or at least by me. Jennifer may have been unimpressed, but she said I could post this picture, so she’s not TOO embarrassed to associate with me.
