Get IMMUN(3)!

Michael McBride’s latest book, IMMUN3, just became available and it’s rocketing toward a very, very quick sellout. It’s a hardcover chapbook from Delirium Books, and if you bought the hardcover of SUCKERS, or even McBride’s BLOOD WISH, you know how cool they are. It’s a fantastic story that packs a hell of a lot into a pocket-sized package (a tight fit, but you can squeeze it in there if you strain a little) and I highly recommend that you pick it up…and fast.

Unlike most limited edition books, there’s no pre-order on this one, and thus no long wait where you go on the author’s website and start posting “Dude, I ordered your book six months ago! WTF???” Nope, this one is shipping now! Buy it! Hurry! It could already be sold out because you spent so much time screwing around here! Go! Go! Go!

Collectors Rejoice! KUTTER Almost Here!

The hardcover limited edition of my novella Kutter ships next week. This story, the tale of a serial killer who finds and adopts an injured Boston Terrier, is one of my personal favorites of all of my books, so I’m pretty ecstatic that people are finally going to get to read it.

The limited edition of a scant 80 copies sold out right away, but if you’re truly serious about buying a desert island with your eBay proceeds in 2018, you can still order the super-shiny lettered edition right HERE.

And if you’re not a collector and just wanna read the damn story…keep watching this space…

$9 million? $9 million? I get scam e-mails offering me BILLIONS of dollars, and this guy thinks I’m going to help him carry out a business transaction for a measly frickin’ $9 million?

Screw you, Mr. Ali.

Flow, Drool, Flow!

Here’s a picture of the lettered edition of Dweller, from Dark Regions Press. The actual book isn’t quite as blurry.

Little Miss Zombie on DWELLER

Admit it–you KNOW you want to check out a site called Little Miss Zombie.

Boxing the Octopus

I’m not 100% certain that “Boxing the Octopus” is the strangest name for a website that I’ve ever been interviewed on, but it’s gotta be close. Boxing the Octopus. Say it a few times–it’s okay, nobody’s listening.

This mini-interview, conducted by Joni Rodgers, features questions about Dweller and that shameful little chapbook from my past…

THE HOAX: Smaller & Better!

Right now I’m finishing up Adrienne Jones’ novel Blender Children, which is one of the most fun, inventive, and entertaining books I’ve read in a good long while. (For our purposes here, we’ll define “a good long while” as, I dunno, “3-5 years.”) But it hasn’t been published yet, so though I got to read it, you do not. JEALOUS???

You can, however, read her books Brine (with fish people) and Gypsies Stole My Tequila (without fish people), which I promise you’ll enjoy, or you can bite off one of my fingers the next time you see me.

Or…her first novel, The Hoax, has now returned from the mighty Mundania Press in an all-new revised version! This isn’t one of those deals where the authors throw back in all of the crap that the editors told them they didn’t need–this is a tighter, leaner, model of The Hoax for 2010. Buy it.

The trailer is below. Then go to the official Adrienne Jones website to stock up.

Come n’ See Me Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, Saturday June 5th, from 10:00 AM to noon, I’ll be a guest speaker at the monthly Florida Writers Association meeting in Wesley Chapel. I’ll be doing a reading from (probably) Dweller and, for the writers, desperately faking my way through a discussion about pitching your work. Authors Rick Wilber and Kimberly Llewellyn will also be there, and we will be listening to and judging book pitches from the audience, American Idol-style. The event is free and open to the public.

Ooooooooh!

Coming late this year from Dark Scribe Press, it’s Butcher Knives & Body Counts, which contains my essays on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (not the remake) and Mother’s Day (also not the remake).

I wrote these essays way back when the project was The Ultimate Guide to Slasher Films. Dark Scribe Press rescued and greatly expanded the project, and I can’t frickin’ wait to devour this thing cover to cover.
