Monster’s Corner Now Available!

My signing for the debut of The Monster’s Corner was last night. If you missed it, never fear, because the book is now available! Stroll on over to your local bookstore, or order a copy from fine online retailers.

My own contribution, “Specimen 313,” has been available for a few weeks as a free e-book, but for those of you outside the United States who weren’t able to download it, the story has now been posted at Tor.Com! Check it out right here!

Special thanks to frequent website commenter Jim Morey, who not only showed up to the signing, but arrived bearing a gift of Snapple! Yes, this superb tradition of giving me free Snapple lives on! I assume that at some point I’ll be “Enough with the frickin’ Snapple, people!” but for now, I heartily endorse this activity.

What? You mean you don’t have a fine first edition, lovingly inscribed on on page 287? Oh, you must be hanging your head in shame, fearing to be seen in public.

But I did say that because you were unavailable, the Snapple duty fell to me. So there’s that.

Well at least I got some credit in there. I’ll just have to see Jeff somewhere, sometime, and have him sign my book (WHC 2012, hint hint please go hint). Dang you for living in the same area as him! Jeff – any new updates on Mayhem we should know about?

I will definitely be at WHC…in fact, I’m emcee of the Stokers again! And watch for the official guest announcement in a couple of days for a mind blowing special guest!

Hehehe… Jeff probably says the same thing under his breath, “Dang you for living in the same area as me!”

One off-handed comment he made about the Mayhem books when he was discussing some technological issues was that if 4 went over well he might be writing 5 and 6… I take that to mean we need to change from mere minions (Even though it was a self appointed title, I like it better than “frequent website commenter.” It makes me sound so chatty!) to Disciples of the Books of Mayhem. Spread the word far and wide. Gift the books to anyone we know with Kindles. Donor drives. Whatever it takes to generate some financial encouragement!!!

Yeah, the four Mayhem covers are 99% done and should be posted soon. All four books will be out before the end of the year.

I used “frequent website commenter” because it is not my place to decide if you’re a minion!

I’m very excited for book 4. I’ve told a lot of book readers I know to check out the series, and anyone I know who’s read it on their own/borrowed my copies, loves the series.
